ABW got me thinking with this post titled War Shamoor. With JD deployed, about to hit the five month mark, and the holidays in full swing I've been thinking about him a lot lately. Let me clarify; I'm always thinking about him, but lately I've been thinking about him being alone/lonely. We have the opportunity this go 'round to Skype and while it's awesome, I wonder if it ever makes it even harder for him to be away. Is it harder because he can actually SEE me, the kids, the dog, and the comforts of home? I may be responsible for it all while he's gone, but at least I have it! What are your thoughts?
