Calling all Cooks

Honor Their Service is putting together a milbloggers' cookbook as a fundraiser to pay for events like our Operation Fresh Air. Op Fresh Air is a day of fishing, food and fellowship for our wounded/injured servicemembers and their families recovering at Walter Reed/Bethesda at Leesylvania State Park.

Details below the fold.

We need submissions from milbloggers and commenters alike in all catagories (appetizers, sides, salads, soups, main dishes, desserts, drinks, etc.) If you have a recipe (or two) that you are particularly proud of, we'd love to put them in the book.
In addition, you can submit pictures if you like. We'll include as many as space and money allow.

We will also be featuring favorite recipes as well as memories from some Gold and Silver star families. These folks, as well as our active duty (Blue star) folks, are the very reason why Honor Their Service exists.

Here are the details:
Send your recipes (and any questions you might have) to HTScookbook@yahoo.com.
We are accepting recipes from today until March 16th. Send me your favorites!! I am excited to see what you all like to cook!

Depending on the turnaround time of editing and then having the cookbooks published, we might be selling them at the Milblogger's conference. Our events are modest productions. This cookbook will reflect that philosophy as well.
