For some reason, when I was asked the other day to write something about what Veterans' Day means to me, I came up blank. Not because I didn't have anything to say but because I honestly didn't know where to begin.
Generation after generation of Americans have answered this country's call and served, protected and defended it.
We are blessed as a nation to have these fine men and women among us. We owe them such a debt for our freedoms that I do not know how we can ever repay it. We should never stop trying.
Thank you to all who serve or have served. You make our country great.
