Timing is everything just so you know!
SpouseBuzz Live was a fantastic event, and as always there was great fellowship, lots of sharing and support.
But I cannot help to think, that the sea has it out for me.
I swear, there is something fishy going on.
When I got off the plane in Norfolk, and out of the airport I immediately felt like a fish out of water...oh the humidity. The sheer balminess of coastal living. I am unsure if it is always that humid in Norfolk, but I will take a wild guess and say YES! But my immediate thought was...I feel like a fish out of water, I can hardly breath. I have already grown accustomed to the dry Midwestern air, after just a few months. However, I will also note tropical storm Hanah probably had a hand in it.
And the sea themed triumvirate continues...
I call my Dearest Husband upon landing, as I wanted to make sure he managed to pick my oldest up from school, without looking like Micheal Keaton in Mr. Mom (again dating myself). He was like, "yes we managed fine, and by the way, uh thanks for volunteering us to take the class pet home, on the weekend you are away."
AWTM brain: Crap, I totally forgot, I signed up to take the darn beta fish home. Crap.....
Last night the fishiness continued, as I noted after 38 years of having NO food allergies, I am allergic to scallops of all things.
It is a good thing I am not a mermaid, even though I thought the mermaids all over Norlfok were the cutest things ever.
