Just a quick post - provided by an old, civilian friend to start your day with humor! An old college buddy called me on his way to pick up a heavy duty shop vac. Apparently, his washing machine struck a leak and his wife sent him out to get the proper equipment to fix the damage while she and the kids attempted to hold off the flood. He wanted to let me know how lucky we military types were that we had 'people' who would come to our house and fix our washing machines when they broke!
Seriously, do you have 'people'? I don't have 'people'! Am I missing out on 'people'?!?!?!?!?!? Is it any wonder the civilian community doesn't reach out more? They all think we have 'people'!!!!! Egads!
