Thank you, Liberal Army Wife. At your site, I saw that the Marine Corps Marathon has a 10K Walk/Run. I know that it isn't a marathon, but for weak kneed, way past a healthy weight me, it might as well be. I've been feeling sorry for myself because it can be hard to exercise when you're the full-time grown-up on duty. I was searching for some motivation and I think this might be it. October 26 is more than three months away and I'm sure that I can get myself together by then. So far, I've convinced my mom and my friend to join me, and I registered today.
