Andi and I had a nice time last night, and she just laughed at my pile of toiletries and reminded me that all hers were expired. We talked nonstop the entire evening, and time just flew by. Before we knew it, it was bedtime. And I needed her help.
In preparation for her arrival, I did all the awful chores that had needed to be done for a while: mowing the yard (ick), vacuuming (ugh), cleaning the guest bathroom (groan). But there was something else that needed to be done around the house that I haven't been able to do on my own, so I enlisted the help of my dear friend and guest to do a particularly hefty chore. Andi helped me rotate my mattress.
Just one of those things that can't easily be done when the husband is deployed. Thank goodness for friends.
