At our second duty station, I heard Murphy's Law for Milspouses described as the "Three Day Rule." In other words, within three days of a deployment or TDY, expect some event that would utterly crush anyone not in SuperSpouse mode.
Last night I got hit with a wave of sick kids. Two of my three children have been vomiting, and one of them has projectile diarrhea. Yes, it is as horrible as it sounds.
Three days exactly.
I'm seriously considering refraining from cleaning this horrible mess and simply burning the house down.
