I have a lovely friend here. Her husband is deploying today. She will be moving this summer, by herself, to their next duty station. When she gets there, she'll be a squadron commanders spouse for the first time. She's a quiet person, very unassuming, very loving and absolutely endearing!
She's understandably nervous about how to best handle the situation she's inheriting. She wants to be supportive for the other spouses and knows this will entail supporting spouses through deployments and all that comes with it. So, I thought I'd turn to y'all for advise to give. After reading Air Force Wife's post about suggestions, I do so with some trepidation! But, y'all are military and who is better equipped to give this sort of advise?!?!?!?
So, if you have any helpful hints, words of wisdom, do or die suggestions, absolutely don't do's, etc. - please pass them on! I'm sure she'll take all of it to heart!
