Holiday Ideas

If you have a unique gift idea for military families, or if you've found a good bargain, please share it with us in the comment section. I'll throw out some ideas here, too.

For You:

Tell your spouses that you deserve an Atta Girl! Because you do. And of course, there's Rhudy's (I can confirm that they do take special orders, by the way.)

For Others:

My nephew has one of these. He loves it. There's a Marine version, too

How about an Ultimate TTFR Package (three CDs and a t-shirt)?

Not military-related, but I have to put in another plug for Flavia. A great gift for the entire family.

BRATS: Our Journey Home. A DVD the whole family could enjoy.

Cost-Saving Ideas:

Check out the 2007 Military.com Holiday Gift Guide (I like the engraved iPod), and don't forget to scour the coupon section. I prefer to throw my money at military-friendly businesses when possible.

Earn Some Cash:

Twenty active-duty servicemembers, guard or reservists will receive $100. Have your spouse take a few minutes to fill out this survey for a chance to win. Who couldn't use an extra $100?  Note: I have no idea what the survey is about, I just know that winning $100 would be nice.

Other:

Cutting it close for December, but if you have a deployed spouse who has an upcoming birthday, you need to check this out (thanks, Sly).

Please share your military-themed gift giving ideas with us.
