Are you aware that there is an Armed Services Blood Program?
Many installation blood programs are currently in urgent need of donations. This website will give you all of the details that you need and help you to find a donation center near you. You can also contact your local installation Red Cross to find out if your location has an Armed Services Blood Program.
My installation is rather small and is not listed on the website, but after a little searching, I found that we do indeed have a program here.
About the blood program:
The ASBP plays a key role in providing quality blood products for Service members and their families in both peace and war. As a joint operation among the military services (Army, Navy, Air Force), the ASBP has many components working together to collect, process, store, distribute, and transfuse blood worldwide.
