Fuzzy Memory

Share

Just when my memory had gotten fuzzy on what it's like to have the Husband away, leave it to the Navy to "click refresh".

Shore Duty is supposed to mean home all the time right?!

Not so.

The other night, I found myself walking through my house flipping off lights, checking doors and windows to make sure everything was "locked down", taking the dogs out one last time for the evening.  I determine this night time routine is much more fun with a helper!

I was left with that uneasy feeling of knowing you are in the house "alone" i.e. minus the Husband.

After some prayers, and getting a drink of cold water I settle in for a guilty pleasure, the new episode of The Bachelor. (That will require a separate post!)

The distraction is good.

I need to get my "husband not at home" routine started.

Grrrr!
