We taped our podcast discussion with Marna Krajeski about her fabulous book Household Baggage three weeks ago. I ran into some editing problems with the podcast and it has taken me some time to work it out. However, there's light at the end of the tunnel and we hope to post the podcast next week. Something else you don't want to miss is sending your story to Marna for consideration of publication in her next book, which she is currently working on. Marna has extended the date for submissions to August 1. Your story does not have to be about moving, it only has to be a military story. - Stories must be received by March 30, 2007 August 1, 2007
- The maximum word count is 1200 words.
- For each story selected in the book, a 50 word biography will be included about the author.
- If your contribution is chosen, you will receive 3 complimentary copies of the book and a publishing credit.
- Spouses from all branches of service, past and present, are invited to participate.
- There are no limits to the number of submissions.
Who knows, maybe we'll be reading your next story in Marna's new book. If you didn't read Household Baggage, pick up a copy. It will lift your spirits and you'll find yourself saying, "yeah, I can relate" over and over again.
