Surviving Deployment - What's Your Story?

Share

The topic for December's What's Your Story contest is "Surviving Deployment." We've discussed the subject of deployment many times here at SpouseBUZZ. Each of us have our own way of dealing with the emotions that surround a deployment, and learning how to pass the time. Some scrapbook, some redecorate, some pour themselves into work, some travel, some reorganize, and on and on....

Tell us how you've survived, or are surviving, deployment. Don't forget about the upsides to deployment, if you found any. Many of us discover just how strong we really are during the deployment phase. Whatever your story, please share it with us and be as creative and humorous as possible.

We'll accept stories from now through December 16. Stories should be no more than 900 words in length. The SpouseBUZZ authors will read all of the submissions and choose a winner. The winning submission will be published on SpouseBUZZ on January 2, and the winner will receive a fabulous (not kidding) goodie bag.
