Blended Retirement System Facts You Need to Know

The Blended Retirement System has begun.

The new retirement system went into effect for new military members on January 1, 2018. It also opened up to current military members with less than 12 years of service.

If you are one of those members who had less than 12 years of active duty on Jan. 1, you may wonder if it is worthwhile to switch over to the new program.
