Before I even get started, just a reminder: this July end-of-month pay period is going to be pretty long for most people. If you get paid on payday, there will be 18 days before the next payday. The next regular, active duty payday is Friday, 14 July 2017. Friday paydays are pretty straightforward, even if your bank or credit union offers early crediting of your military pay.
USAA
USAA credits pay deposits one business day prior to the actual payday. For this pay period, that will be Thursday, 13 July 2017.
Pacific Marine Credit Union
Pacific Marine Credit Union (PMCU) credits military pay deposits two business days prior to the actual payday. For this pay period, that will be Wednesday, 12 July 2017.
Service Credit Union
Service Credit Union credits military pay deposits two business days prior to the actual payday. For this pay period, that will be Wednesday, 12 July 2017.
Navy Federal Credit Union
Navy Federal Credit Union (NFCU) offers many different types of checking accounts, but only one type of checking account has an early crediting benefit.
NFCU members who use an Active Duty checking account for their military pay will have their pay credited one business day prior to the actual payday. For this pay period, that means that pay will be available for use on Thursday, 13 July 2017.
NFCU members who use any other type of checking account for their military pay will have their pay credited on the actual military payday. For this pay period, that means that pay will be available for use on Friday, 14 July 2017.
