The next regular, active duty military pay day is Monday, 1 June 2015. Monday paydays can be really confusing if you have your military pay deposited into a bank or credit union that offers early direct deposit of military pay. Just to switch things up, this payday I'll list the option in order of when deposits will likely be posted.
Service Credit UnionIt is the policy of Service Credit Union to deposit active duty military pay two business days prior to the official payday, pending the receipt of the pay information from the Defense Finance and Accounting Service. However, Service Credit Union does not guarantee that military pay will be deposited early.
If things go as planned, service members who bank with Service Credit Union will have their military pay deposited into their account on Thursday, 28 May 2015.
USAA, PMCU, and other "one business day" early banks"One business day early" is the most common early direct deposit offering. For this pay period, one business day early will be Friday, 29 May 2015. USAA and PMCU are the two largest financial institutions that I know will post military pay one business day early.
Navy Federal Credit UnionNavy Federal Credit Union is always the trickiest pay deposit schedule to decipher, because different accounts have deposits on different days, and because pay is shown as "pending" before it posts overnight. Throw in a weekend, and things can be wacky.
Everyone ElseIf you don't know that your bank or credit union offers early direct deposit, then you should assume that they do not and that your pay will be deposited sometime on Monday, 1 June 2015.
