Must be time...people are searching the internet for military payday info.   The next regular, active duty military payday is Thursday, 15 May 2014.  Thursday are easy to understand!

Service Credit Union

Service Credit Union posts active duty military pay “up to two business days” early.  This early deposit is not guaranteed and is dependent upon Service Credit Union receiving the pay information from the Defense Finance and Accounting Service.  For Thursday paydays, pay can be deposited as early as Tuesday.  For this payday, that means that the pay could be deposited as early as Tuesday, 13 May 2014.  However, please focus on the "not guaranteed" part and make sure you don't get yourself in a financial bind.

One Business Day Early

Many military-friendly banks and credit unions offer to credit pay deposits one business day prior to the actual payday. This list includes  USAA FSB and Pacific Marine Credit Union.  For this pay period, one business day early equals Wednesday, 14 April 2014.

Navy Federal Credit Union

Navy Federal Credit union has different deposit rules for different types of checking accounts, which results in two different paydays depending on which type of account you use.   NFCU members who use Active Duty checking accounts will see their pay pending on Tuesday, 13 May 2014, to be posted overnight and available for use on Wednesday, 14 May 2014.  NFCU members who use any other type of checking account will see their pay pending on Wednesday, 14 May 2014, to be posted overnight and available for use on Thursday, 15 May 2014.

Pay deposits do not come at a consistent time each pay period.  See When Will I Get Paid? for more information.
