If you've been searching around the internet for the 2014 Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) rates, you can stop looking now. They're not out yet, as of 0807 on 16 December 2013. I will be checking constantly and will let you know as soon as I see them released.
I don't think it should be too much longer. I think the 2013 rates were released on 17 December 2012, and the 2012 rates were released on 15 December 2011. The 2011 rates were released on 15 December 2010. Do you see the pattern there?
I know there is a small section of you that would really like to know the new rates because you are PCSing in January. For the rest of us, it is more of a nice-to-know situation. BAH rate protection means that BAH rates won't drop for those already on station, unless they experience a change in dependency or a demotion.
