Share Your Education and Employment Experiences In New Survey

Are you, or have you ever been, a military spouse?   If so, please consider filling out The Military Spouse Employment Survey on military spouse life, education, and employment.  It's a hugely comprehensive survey put together by the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) and Syracuse University's Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF.)

This survey is completely anonymous and voluntary.  I took it yesterday.  It took me about a half hour, including a few we-have-bad-internet-here snafus.  I thought most of the questions were very well constructed and there is the potential for real, quality data to come from this survey.

The data from this survey will help organizations that are trying to help military spouses with their education and employment goals.  It will ensure that the ever-shrinking resources are directed to the most valuable programs.  I think that is great, because I think that the Department of Defense is currently pouring a lot of money into ineffective initiatives.  If the DoD is spending money on spouse education and employment issues, I'd love to see it well spent.

The survey covers all ages of active duty, reserve, National Guard, veteran and surviving military spouses, so please share it with your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and any other random people who have ever been military spouses.  Thanks!
