15 April 2013 Military Pay

The next military payday, Monday, 15 April 2013, is going to play out pretty much the same as the last payday, Monday, 1 April 2013.  Therefore, most people should be able to anticipate their pay deposit pretty accurately by looking at when their last pay was deposited.

USAA and Pacific Marine Credit Union (PMCU) offer pay deposits one business day early.  Therefore, USAA and PMCU customers should see their pay funds deposited sometime on Friday, 29 March 2013.

Service Credit Union offers deposits "up to two business days early."  For the last payday, Service CU posted deposits on Thursday.  However, DO NOT COUNT ON THIS.  It is not guaranteed.  Anything can happen.

Navy Federal Credit Union has two different deposit dates depending on what type of checking account you use for your direct deposit.  Customers who use an Active Duty checking account for their direct deposit will see their pay pending on Thursday, 11 April 2013, to be posted overnight and available for use on Friday, 12 April 2013.  Customers who use any other type of checking account for their direct deposit will see their pay pending on Friday, 12 April 2013, to be posted overnight and available for use on Saturday, 13 April 2013.

Do Not Forget:   The next regular military payday, 1 May 2013, is on a Wednesday.  Pay will not be deposited before the weekend, no matter what bank you use.  Plan ahead!
