One of the things that I hate about moving to a new town is that it is so hard to pick out the good places to live. Thankfully, there is a new website that can help! It is called Military Town Advisor and it is designed to let people write about their homes, their towns, and their areas. That way you can look up information before you move and learn about what areas might be good for your family.
There are three levels of reviews: area, neighborhood, and schools and you can sort by a variety of factors, including base, residence type, family type, and age range. One this has been up and running for a while, it will be such a valuable resource.
It is only a few weeks old, so there aren't a ton of reviews up yet, but more are coming every day. You can help by reviewing areas where you have lived. This site has been put together by a military spouse, so supporting this site means supporting the military family in more ways than one.
