16 April 2011 Weekend Roundup

Whew!  Now that we have survived the excitement of the last few weeks, it is time to resume our regularly scheduled programming.  Here are some of my favorite articles from around the internet:

Toni at The Happy Housewife has written an excellent piece on How To Survive on Half Your Military Pay.  As we all reflect on recent events, it is clear that savings needs to be a high priority.  One way to save is to spend less.  Obviously, you can't use all the ideas in Toni's post, but it is a good place to start.

Ramit Sethi tells us why Your Parents Are Delusional About Tax Refunds at I Will Teach You To Be Rich.  I always enjoy reading Ramit's often-contrarian thinking on financial issues.

Baker at ManVs.Debt challenges us with 24 Quick Actions You Can Do Today That Can Change Your Financial Life Forever.   Can you pick one and do it?

Hope everyone has had a peaceful, non-budget stressing week.
