After several extensions, the last day to claim retroactive stop loss pay (RSLSP) is now 4 March 2011 - that is next Friday! If your enlistment was involuntarily extended between September 11, 2001 and September 30, 2009, then you might be eligible for this special payment. You must apply by Friday. See the website at www.defense.gov/stoploss for the claim form and more instructions. They have extended this deadline several times because so few people have claimed their payments. Please don't let this deadline pass by without making a claim, and tell your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers if you think there is any possibility they might be eligible.
