Do you shop at the Navy Exchange (NEX)? They've got a promotion this fall that will save you 3% on your purchase. Simply purchase a special NEX holiday savings card (similar to a gift card) between now and October 2nd, and on November 1st the NEX will add an additional 3% to the balance on your card. If you are a regular NEX shopper, this could be a good way to make your dollar stretch a little further.
Navy Exchange gift cards never expire and there is no service fee. 3% isn't a lot, but it is more than most of us are making in our savings accounts, and it is a fast return on investment. As long as you are spending money at the NEX, might as well take advantage of this deal.
