My favorite article so far this week has definitely been Sun Tzu’s Art of War Applied to Your Battle Against Debt over at Financial Samurai. If you need a little inspiration to attack that debt, this is the place to look.  Love, love, love it!

I also loved Can’t stand the heat? Get into the kitchen — but only long enough to make iced tea at  Surviving and Thriving, written by Donna Freedman.  Donna also writes the Living With Less personal finance column for MSN Money, contributes every Friday to MSN Money’s Smart Spending blog and manages the Smart Spending message board.   She always has interesting things to say, and she can stretch a dollar really far!  Sweet tea - so simple and so good.

A fascinating look at the student loan business can be found at The Consumerist:  Student Loans, Gateway Drug to Debt Slavery.  I used federally subsidized student loans to get through college and I was thankful for them, but I had no idea the lack of consumer debt protections.  I learned a lot from this easy-to-read infographic.  I'm not against student loans at all, but I do wish there was a better system.
