I am starting to dread these May Challenge updates, because I'm not doing as well as I had hoped. I've made some progress in the last five days, but I'm going to have to pick up the pace if I'm going to meet my goal of earning $1000 in May.
Here are the changes since I last posted:
- Earned $51 selling a book back to the college bookstore. (If you missed it, here's what I learned.)
- Sold a basket on Ebay for $14. Still need to ship, today!
- Have a Girl Scout uniform item on Ebay. Currently bid: $4.75, with two days to go.
I've gotten an email about the car ramps I have on Craigslist, and I need to call the guy. This Craiglist thing makes me feel a little uncomfortable, especially after this particularly horrific incident. I've got a lot of stuff to sell once we are packed out (clothes washer, toaster oven, crock pot, etc.) and I am not particularly happy about using Craigslist to do it.
Current earnings: $215. Lots of clothes at the consignment shop, plus one item on Craigslist and one item on Ebay. I have a long way to go.
I guess I should spend today gathering things and posting them on Craigslist or Ebay. Or Freecycle, if it isn't of monetary value, but just needs to leave my house.
I hope you are doing better than I am.
