Military and civilian leaders in science and technology gathered at the U.S. Naval War College for a conference on how quantum science could influence national defense. The event was called the Quantum Science in Warfare roundtable and was the second event in a series that will be repeated throughout the year. Attendees included engineers from the Naval Undersea Warfare Center and SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific and representatives from quantum-related technology companies such as Vancouver, British Columbia-based D-Wave; Zapata Computing in Cambridge, Massachusetts; and Entanglement Institute in Newport.
