The HQ RIO Reserve Pay Office military pay technicians have noticed increased pay documentation errors that result in payment delays to servicemembers. The most common pay documentation submission errors include: (1) incomplete Orders (AF Form 938); (2) redacted Social Security Numbers (SSNs) – Reservists must ensure their SSN is visible; (3) duplicate document submission – if there was an error transmitting documents, members should contact an HQ RIO military pay technician by phone; and (4) members should ensure they address each item identified by the technician.
