Cold Steel Knives now has an extra-large version of its tactical stiletto line known as Counter Point.
The Counter Point XL features a 6-inch blade, fashioned from Japanese AUS8A steel. The spear-point blade has a pronounced false edge like the original 3-inch and 4-inch blade Counter Point models.
“It's a huge knife, condensing a vast amount of cutting power into a surprisingly lightweight, comfortable and concealable package,” Cold Steel officials maintain. “Strong, light, versatile ... the Counter Point series takes the best features of a quality boot knife and redefines the potential of a high-performance folder.”
The Counter Point XL’s handle measures just over 7 inches and is made of GRIV-EX – a super plastic pioneered by Cold Steel, and reinforced with heat-treated, aluminum liners, officials say.
It weighs 7.9 ounces and has an ambidextrous pocket clip. Cold Steel is retailing the Counter Point XL for $125, but you can find them for around $75.
