American Sniper's Widow Sues Husband's Former Partners

Kyle_littlefieldTaya Kyle, widow of Chris Kyle, sued the American Sniper's former business partners who she alleges have tried to conspire to steal Craft International, the training company Kyle helped co-found.

First reported by the Dallas Morning News, Taya Kyle filed the suit the Monday before Christmas. She claims that Steven Young and Bo French have been "manipulating CRAFT’s stock, mishandling funds, diverting assets and mismanaging and usurping CRAFT’s contracts."

The Kyle family still owns 85 percent of the company, yet she claims that Young and French will not provide access to the financial records of the company. Young is the company's CEO and the French is the chief operating officer.

Taya Kyle's attorney, Larry Friedman, told DMN that Young and French were diverting debt to CRAFT and income that originated with CRAFT to a separate company called Craft International Risk Management.

"What it looks like from the outside is they pushed the debt to Craft and the income to CIRM,” Friedman told the Dallas paper. “Someone is manipulating the company, and we can’t stand for that.”
