If you're in the market for a new cell phone plan, get ready to visit your local T-Mobile store because they're launching a new discount plan just for the military and their families.
As part of their new military support initiative, T-Mobile is introducing T-Mobile ONE Military starting April 22 with half off family lines. This plan gives service members all the benefits of their unlimited plan at a discounted price, including unlimited talk, text and data, in-flight texting and more.
The plan includes 20% off the first line and half off up to five additional voice lines. The first line is $55, instead of the normal $70. After that, it's half off up to six lines, which comes to $25 for the second line and $10 per line for the third through sixth lines.
And to make the deal even sweeter, military customers can also get half off Samsung superphones, like the new Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ via bill credits through May 31.
T-Mobile ONE Military will be available at T-Mobile stores nationwide and on bases to active duty service members, Reserve, National Guard, veterans, and Gold Star families, as well as the small businesses they own up to 12 voice lines. The military member must be the primary account holder, but they'll work with spouses whose service members are deployed. Don't forget to bring your military ID or proof of service when you go in to sign up!
In addition to the huge discounts, T-Mobile's military support initiative includes a pledge to hire 10,000 veterans and military spouses in the next five years and the investment of more than half a billion dollars to expand LTE coverage and capacity and lay the foundation for 5G in communities around U.S. military bases.
