Both Republicans and Democrats will have to answer for this one: their failure to make a budget deal has knocked the Armed Forces Network off the air.
That means the broadcasts for both the NFC and AFC Championship Games this Sunday won't be aired. That's especially bad news for Eagles, Vikings and Jaguars fans, since those teams share a total of four trips to the Super Bowl between them and appearances in a championship game for all three teams have been rare. It's hard to feel the same sympathy for Patriots fans, but this could be their last Super Bowl run with old man Tom Brady.
If you can get yourself to a USO Center, the NFL will be sharing the games for free via NFL Game Pass. Military members can watch tomorrow's NFL games at USO Centers overseas through NFL Game Pass for free. -- Brian McCarthy (@NFLprguy) January 20, 2018
That solution works for some of you, but face it: when you're near a USO Center, you're probably not far away from a bar or restaurant that's catering to NFL fans and expat Americans.
We've got just a few hours left. Contact your Congressional representatives and your Senators and let them know that you won't forget if they screw this up!
