“Working for TRUMPF as a FSE has been a great experience for me, getting to travel to different places and learning a very different but constant growing technology. I have gained a wealth of knowledge that continues to grow day to day. I have learned so much not just about my specific job, but also how my job affects other industries around the world. Everyone within the TRUMPF family has been enjoyable and also willing to lend a hand when asked. TRUMPF, being a family owned company, still values the employees’ family time making sure that you are able to maintain a good quality lifestyle outside of work. TRUMPF definitely goes down as one of the best places I have ever worked.”
“When I retired from the Navy in February 2012 and started working at TRUMPF in April 2012 I was not sure what Navy skills I was able to bring to TRUMPF from submarines. However, the transition has gone very well. Submarines and lasers actually have a lot in common. They both have electrical systems, gas systems, chill water systems, hydraulics systems, modular components and computer interfaces systems. So the transition to being a TRUMPF tech went very smoothly. The training that I have received at TRUMPF has been very comprehensive and has adequately prepared me for the work I perform on CO2 and Fiber lasers and Lift Master compacts. TRUMPF is a great company to work for and look forward to being with them for a long time.”
