Amusement park ride 600x400

Amusement parks are a fun way for families to spend time together while on vacation. But tickets aren’t cheap, especially for larger families.

Many military families take advantage of the military discounts available for the Disney parks, but may not be aware of the discounts available for other popular amusement parks.

The following are amusement parks that offer military discounts. Remember to have your valid military ID handy to redeem them!

Cedar Point offers $15 off a regular all-day admission ticket to active, retired, and honorably discharged members of the military with a valid ID. They also host special Military Appreciation events throughout the year.

Colonial Williamsburg

Active duty military and immediate family members can receive a Military One Day Plus Pass to Colonial Williamsburg through MWR/ITT offices, or 10% off on multi-day tickets at their ticket windows. Click here for more details.

Colonial Williamsburg has also joined the Blue Star Partnership, which means that between Memorial Day and Labor Day, military families are offered one day of free admission to the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg. Tickets are available at the Colonial Williamsburg Regional Visitor Center or the DeWitt Wallace Decorative Arts Museum.

Dollywood

Dollywood offers a 30% discount on one-day admission tickets for active or retired military, disabled veterans, reservists, spouses, and dependents with a valid military ID. Tickets cannot be pre-purchased and must be purchased at the front gate of Dollywood and/or Dollywood’s Splash Country.
