On the Wednesday 10/25 episode of the Velocity Channel's reality-based series Garage Squad, the team helps the family of Marine Brandon Meyer renovate a 1968 Chevy Malibu that he had planned to restore with his father Dave after he completed his service in Iraq.

Brandon purchased the car on Ebay during his deployment but unfortunately struggled with post-traumatic stress after his return and took his own life before the Malibu project could be completed.

Brandon's mom Wendy reached out to the show in the above video and the shows team (National Hot Rod Association world champion driver Bruno Massel, co-host Heather Storm and lead builder Joe Zolper) chose the project for their current season.

Wendy, remembers the moment she found out Garage Squad had selected their car, “Garage Squad is going to do Brandon’s car. We are going to complete his dream with them… His dream is going to get done.”

The reality-based series, Garage Squad, helps individuals who may lack the time, resources or expertise complete their very own DIY car projects. The team comes to the rescue, turning that long-term, never-ending project into a road-ready masterpiece again.
