On Wednesday, Jun 27th,  Army Sgt. 1st Class Bryane Greene caddied for PGA Tour golfer Rickie Fowler for the final two holes at the Quicken Loans National. It was all a setup. Greene had been gone for 3 1/2 years, serving in Afghanistan and Kuwait. His son Bryane Green, Jr. was waiting on the 18th green and had no idea that dad was home.

Greene's daughter Zshanea and cousins Narryn and Robin Fisher and JeNai Howard were also there to greet him. The Quicken Loans National is held annually in the D.C. area near the Fourth of July weekend, taking place this year at the TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm course. The tournament makes an effort to honor the military and provides 30,000 complimentary tickets annually.

The Sporting News has some very nice interviews with Bryane and his kids here if you want to watch those as well.
