Coming Home in 'Thank You for Your Service'

Thank You for Your Service is the upcoming movie based on David Finkel's best-selling nonfiction book about the men of the Army's 2-16 Infantry Battalion's return home after they served in the 2007 surge in Iraq.

Due in theaters October 27th, the movie is written and directed by Jason Hall, Oscar-nominated screenwriter of Clint Eastwood's American Sniper. Jason talked to us about that movie back in 2014.

The ensemble cast features Miles Teller (Whiplash, Divergent), Amy Schumer (Trainwreck, Snatched), Joe Cole (Peaky Blinders), Haley Bennett (The Girl on the Train, Marley and Me), Keisha Castle-Hughes (Game of Thrones, Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith) and newcomers Scott Haze and Beulah Koale.

In this clip about the making of the movie, real-life veteran Adam Schumann (played by Teller in the movie), Jason Hall and the cast talk about their experiences making the film and how the men and women who inspired the movie helped them make it.
