In his search for a reliable gig outside of the Fast & Furious movies, Vin Diesel finally returns to one of his signature roles in xXx: Return of Xander Cage (out now on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD, Digital HD and On Demand). The movie also stars Hong Kong action legend Donnie Yen (star of the Ip Man movies now streaming on Netflix and recently seen in the U.S. as Chirrut Îmwe in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story).

We've got a clip from the Target exclusive edition of the Blu-ray Combo Pack, which features nearly 30 minutes of exclusive content. Visual Effects Supervisor Jasen "Jaz" Nannini explains how the crew developed and executed the airplane stunt that one of the movie's centerpiece moments.

The plot is something about a hi-tech weapon that may destroy the world and Xander's the one guy who can lead a team that will defuse the danger. Of course, this movie is all about the stunts: both plot and character development are what happens between explosions.Ice Cube, star of the Diesel-free xXx: State of the Union makes an appearance and Samuel L. Jackson shows up as the link between all three movies in the series. D.J. Caruso, who made the still-missing-from-Blu-ray 2002 noir classic The Salton Sea, handles the direction.

With the DVD, you just get the movie. There's a Dolby Atmos sound mix if you've got an Atmos setup in your home theater.
