WWE Adds Another Chapter to 'The Marine' Movie Saga

The Marine 5: Battleground, the latest chapter in WWE's military adventure series, launches this week on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD with the return of Mike “The Miz” Mizanin as Jake Carter. The Miz is fully separated from the Marine Corps and trying to have a quiet life (with adrenalin rushes) working as an EMT. Of course, trouble follows this guy in every movie and he finds himself trapped with an injured man marked for death by a biker gang.

This edition of the series also features a cast loaded with WWE wrestlers: Curtis Axel, Bo Dallas, Maryse, Naomi, and Heath Slater plus actress Anna Van Hooft (Warcraft). Wrestling fans know that The Miz and Maryse are married and, in this clip from the disk's bonus features, they talk about working together in the latest installment of the wrestling company's military adventure movie series.

The disks include two behind-the-scenes featurettes that bring fans to action ground zero. In “Evening the Odds,” fans discover that an amusement park isn’t all fun and games when the cast and Mike 'The Miz' Mizanin walk through how his character uses the setting to thwart off his enemies. “Superstar Studded” offers fans interviews from their favorite WWE Superstars, including The Miz, Curtis Axel, Heath Slater, Maryse and Naomi.
