Hacksaw Ridge is out this week (2/21) on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack (plus Blu-ray and Digital HD), Blu-ray Combo Pack (plus DVD and Digital HD), DVD, On Demand and Digital HD. We've got an interview coming up this week with the movie's producer Bill Mechanic in advance of next Sunday's Academy Awards ceremony.

Hacksaw Ridge is the extraordinary true story of conscientious objector Desmond Doss (Andrew Garfield) who, in Okinawa during the bloodiest battle of WWII, saved 75 men without firing or carrying a gun. Doss was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his bravery but never sought the spotlight during his lifetime.

In this clip from the film's bonus features, Mel Gibson talks about Desmond Doss and how the Army medic's bravery and fearlessness in battle inspired him to make the movie.
