Chris Pratt Takes 'Passengers' to Miramar

On Monday December 12th, Chris Pratt took his new movie Passengers to Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego for a special advance screening.

Pratt plays Jim, a passenger on a 120-year journey to a colony planet who must face reality when his hibernation pod wakes him and fellow passenger Aurora (Jennifer Lawrence) 90 years too early. It's the kind of big bet Hollywood doesn't often make these days: a big-budget thriller that's made from a completely original idea. It's not based on a novel or a comic book or some old TV series from back in the day. Also, Passengers is not exactly a thriller. It's also a comedy and a romance and a sci-fi vision of the future. The trailers and commercials don't give away the plot, so it's worth seeing this one early if you're interested.

Because Chris Pratt is charming and hilarious, he made the most of his Miramar visit. Check out some of the photos below. The photographer somehow didn't get the names of the Marines who joined Pratt in the photos. If you know the unnamed Marines, tell us their names in the comments below!
