A replica of a World War II RAF Spitfire plane made an emergency landing this past Sunday in central England and the incident was captured on video.

Flying above Sibson Airfield in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, the pilot realized that his landing gear had malfunctioned and he flew an additional 20 minutes to burn off fuel before he attempted to land the plane by sliding across the grass field. Skydivers jumping at the field were grounded to make sure the plane had a clear landing path.
