Captain Phillips arrives on Blu-ray and DVD this week. Nominated for 6 Academy Awards (including Best Picture and Actor in a Supporting Role), the movie features Tom Hanks as Richard Phillips, the captain of the merchant ship Maersk Alabama that was highjacked by Somali pirates. The film chronicles that takeover and Phillips' subsequent rescue by a Navy SEAL team.
