We're big fans of SnagFilms here at UTR (check out their awesome iPad app that lets you watch over 1800 really excellent documentary films and even stream them to your Apple TV). Now they've teamed up with the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) to raise funds that will help provide services for those who served.

How can you help? Go to this page and watch the excellent 2006 documentary When I Came Home, a film that looks at the challenges faced by returning combat veterans and the battle many must fight for the benefits promised to them through the story of Herold Noel, an Iraq War veteran suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and living in his car in Brooklyn.

After you watch, click on that page's Facebook Like button and the Twitter button to share the movie with everyone in your social networks. For every click SnagFilms will donate $1 to IAVA.

When I Came Home is a powerful reminder that it's not just men and women killed in action who should be remembered on Memorial Day. You should click here, watch the movie and click on the links before you fire up the grill. The promotion runs through June 2nd.
