Your tax dollars at work: in an effort to get young people to pay attention to disaster preparedness, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has posted a blog that describes what everyone should do to prepare for a zombie apocalypse.
Plan your evacuation route. When zombies are hungry, they won't stop until they get food (i.e., brains), which means you need to get out of town fast. Plan where you would go and multiple routes you would take ahead of time so that the flesh eaters don't have a chance.
Even thought the post reveals that it hopes to get readers to think about what they should do to prepare for "real emergencies," expect some literal-minded Congressmen to call a bunch of scientists to Capitol Hill for hearings into America's zombie scandal before the summer's over.
