As-yet-unconfirmed reports from the Democratic Republic of Congo claim that an August plane crash was caused when a live crocodile escaped from a sports bag during the flight. The passengers freaked out and rushed the cockpit, causing the crash.
All of this allegedly comes from the tragedy's lone survivor, who reportedly also told an African magazine that the reptile survived the crash but was later killed by a rescue worker with a machete.
