Someone thought it was a good idea for Will Smith to interview President Obama during the Commander in Chief's trip to Oslo for the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony.
Smith called the experience "terrifying" but still wanted to ask the kind of "gotcha" question that would make the news.
There's a couple of ways to look at this. The optimistic view would be that Obama thought his winning the Nobel Peace Prize was so absurd that granting an interview to the star of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was appropriate commentary on an awkward occasion. A more depressing take is that this is another step down that path that will eventually lead our President to take a couple of months off in his second term to compete on Survivor: St. Barth's.
Check out Donna Summer sitting to Will's right in the video. She's looking great, if kind of embarrassed to be there.
