The National's Charisma Gap

Back in 1974, The National could have gone on tour, played great shows and given a couple of print interviews to support their album and everyone would have been happy. The modern world isn't quite so easy with all this modern online technology.

Give Sgt. Ted Mcdonald credit: the Pentagon Channel correspondent doesn't give up easily while he's trying to the guys from The National to say something that's at least vaguely interesting. See if you can make it through all 4 1/2 minutes of this video, but it's pretty rough going, even for someone like me who owns all their albums and might actually care what they have to say.
