Don’t forget that you can find all the updated 2017 military pay charts here at Military.com.

The next, regular, active duty military payday is Thursday, 1 June 2017.  Because of the various policies and practices of banks and credit unions, some military members receive their pay before others.  When will your paycheck show up in your account?  That depends on which bank or credit union you use for your military pay, and sometimes even which type of bank account you use.

If you don't know that your bank or credit union offers early direct deposit of military pay, then you should expect to have your pay deposited at some time on Thursday, 1 June 2017.

USAA

USAA credits military pay deposits one business day prior to the actual payday, pending the receipt of the pay information from the appropriate agency.  For this payday, one business day early will be Wednesday, 31 May 2017.

Navy Federal Credit Union

Navy Federal Credit Union (NFCU) has two different pay deposit dates.  Only those members who use an Active Duty checking account for their military pay have their pay deposit credited early.  Members who use any other type of checking account have their pay deposit credited on the actual payday.

Members who use an Active Duty Checking account will have their pay pending on Tuesday, 30 May 2017, to be posted overnight and available for use on Wednesday, 31 May 2017.

Members who use any other type of checking account will have their pay pending on Wednesday, 31 May 2017, to be posted overnight and available for use on Thursday, 1 June 2017.

Service Credit Union

Service Credit Union credits military pay deposits two business days prior to the actual payday, pending the receipt of the pay information from the appropriate agency. For this payday, two business days early will be Tuesday, 30 May 2017.

Pacific Marine Credit Union

Pacific Marine Credit Union (PMCU) credits military pay deposits two business days prior to the actual payday, pending the receipt of the pay information from the appropriate agency. For this payday, two business days early will be Tuesday, 30 May 2017.

We have several fairly regular pay periods before another long one at the end of July.  If this last long pay period was hard for you, then take this opportunity to put things in order and get a little ahead.
